If someone ever has the desire to tell you about one of their favorite things in the world, please be interested. I’m so tired of seeing friendships that seemed unfazed. If someone you are talking to is telling you about their favorite season, or why they enjoy an anime, or why they want so badly to know what love feels like; listen to them. Even if you aren’t interested in what they are saying, for God’s sake LISTEN ANYWAYS. It’s rude to desire friendship with someone and yet not allow them to enjoy certain things. I think people underestimate how easy it is to pick up an uninterested vibe, so for the sake of being a decent human being, listen, and try to understand why they like their interests so much; because I feel..that is the best way to understand another person.
